In West Hempstead, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New York vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–6 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (516) 538-9404. Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 86 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in West Hempstead.

West Hempstead is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. I had a great experience at Majestic Auto Shop. They did an excellent job diagnosing the roaring noise coming from my car, quickly found the problem, and explained everything clearly. They replaced both rear shocks and all four tires at a very reasonable price. The work was done professionally, and my car now drives smoothly and quietly. I really appreciate their honesty, fair pricing, and quality service. I highly recommend Majestic Auto Shop to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy auto repairs.

The Best Auto Repair Experience – Honest, Skilled, and Affordable! Majestics Auto Inspection Station in West Hempstead is hands down the most honest and reliable mechanic shop I have ever been to. Adam and his incredible team are a rare gem in the auto repair industry—honest, skilled, and truly dedicated to their customers. I took my truck to the Land Rover dealership, expecting expert service, only to be handed back a vehicle in worse condition each time, along with sky-high repair costs. The dealership quoted me $2,600 for a repair, but when I brought my truck to Adam and his team, they fixed it perfectly for just $280! That is the ultimate testament to their honesty and integrity. For the past 10 years, I have trusted Majestics Auto with my vehicle, and they have never let me down. Their expertise, fair pricing, and commitment to doing what’s right for their customers make them an invaluable part of the West Hempstead and Long Island community. If you’re looking for a mechanic you can truly trust, look no further—this is the place! Thank you, Adam and the Majestics Auto team, for your outstanding service!
